Went to Caloocan for the first time - ALONE. Met up with Jesi and the rest of the Kapatiran alyansa members. Had to interview them about their reformation. See, this alliance is composed of 70-90 gangs (with more than 3,000 members) who solemnly swear that they’re up to no bad. Turned out to be really interesting. According to them, ang layuning nila ay ibahin ang imahe ng mga gangs sa lipunan at mata ng tao. YES ROIGHT. They have feeding programs, livelihood projects and breakdancing sessions. They also have tats and wounds BTW that scared me at first but really they were all pretty cool and accommodating. They even gave me a baller ID. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA and I asked for our picture to be taken HAHAHAHAHAHA LORD GOD I HOPE THIS STORY OF MINE PUSHES THROUGH ‘cause I’d really like to meet them again.
